YDRC Campaign Resource CD

First-time local candidates often don't know where to start, and struggle unncessarily to write campaign plans, palm cards, and other campaign materials from scratch. We've assembled the YDRC Campaign Resource CD to help Democrats run better, more efficient campaigns. We included the full 2006 Democracy for America training manual, fundraising material from Emily's List, outreach materials from the Young Democrats of America, College Democrats of America, and leaders in organized labor.

We distributed free copies of our Campaign Resource CD at the DRC Straw Poll Convention in Ithaca, March 3-4, and supplies are limited. If you are a Democrat and you would like a copy of our Campaign Resource CD, please email cd@nysydrc.org. For security purposes, CDs will be distributed through YDRC members, county Democratic chairs, Democratic State Committee members, elected officials, and verified Democratic candidates only, unless other arrangements are made.

Wanted: DRC/YDRC Intern

The New York State Young Democratic Rural Conference, in cooperation with the Democratic Rural Conference of New York seek a motivated intern to lead the day-to-day operations of our organizations. Reporting to the YDRC Chair and DRC Chair, the YDRC/DRC intern will assist with event planning, communications and media relations, fundraising, campaign relations, membership development. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain meaningful political experience and valuable contacts.
